About Us
In 1992, Benton/Washington Regional Public Water Authority was established, and we began providing regional wholesale water to rural systems and smaller municipalities in Benton and Washington counties in 1999. Since then, we have grown to provide excellent water services to over 168,000 individuals in Northwest Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma, plus another 1.25 million travelers through Northwest Arkansas National Airport in 2025. In efforts to continue providing safe and reliable water services, BWRPWA has invested over $200 million in capacity upgrades as the NWA region continues to experience rapid growth, with an additional $ 300 million planned for future projects.
