The Benton Washington Regional Public Water Authority is currently accepting resumes for the position of Water Treatment Maintenance Specialist. This involves technical work in maintaining a water treatment plant, water transmission system, and outlying facilities in NW Arkansas.. Position is Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM . Minimum requirements are to be at least age 18, have a HS Diploma or GED, be able to swim, and have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Applicants with current Arkansas Dept of Health Water Distribution License and experience in working with large pumps and motors will be given preference; however, training for licensing can be provided for the right applicant. Basic working knowledge of plumbing, welding, operations of maintenance equipment, and ability to work outdoors under all conditions, as well as heights up to 125 feet is required for the position. Starting pay is dependent on qualifications and ranges from $13.00 - $19.00 per hour (potentially more with license and experience) and most benefits begin 30 days after hire.
